F.A.Q.
What is the parking situation?
There is FREE street parking in front of the house. While it is a public street, we have never had any trouble fitting at least two cars in front of, or very close to, the house.
NOTE: Please park several feet away from the alley entrance, as larger vehicles need to have the ability to maneuver into and out of the alley. The curb is marked with yellow indicating a safe distance.
Can I park in the alley or parking lot next to the house?
No. The alley acts as a road and must remain unblocked at all times. The parking lot is privately owned by the building next door. That said, we have never had any issues parking there temporarily.
Is the neighborhood safe?
While we can never guarantee anything, we have never had an issue with safety. The house is equipped with three cameras, and the back yard is completely closed off by an eight-foot fence that remains locked. If you do have a vehicle, you are responsible for it, but there have been no reported incidents of vandalism.
NOTE: We know the main road (Jefferson St.) is still up-and-coming. Please see some of our walking route recommendations to take in more scenic views as you make your way to Bicentennial Mall, downtown Germantown, or the Farmers Market!
Can I receive an early check-in?
We try to accommodate all needs with regards to travel, but no promises! Sometimes we can at least arrange for you to drop your bags if you arrive before your scheduled check-in time. Please message us on the app to check availabilities.
Can I use the grill and/or fireplace?
Yes! Both use propane. If a tank is empty or runs out, please reach out to us. Grill utensils are kept under the hood. Please make sure the grill is cleaned after use. You will be responsible for any damage, so (naturally) be careful when fire is involved.
NOTE: Please make sure the propane tanks are closed when you are finished! Also, be sure the fireplace and/or grill have cooled off before replacing their covers.
